There’s always something special about the last wedding of the year. For 2016, this belonged to Becca and Shawn – and it went out with a spark! (Get it? Cheesy photographer sparkler joke…oh boy, I must be tired.) Becca and Shawn were wonderful to work with right from the start, and their venue, Shadow Creek, is quickly becoming one of my new favorites! (I can’t wait to head back there in June!)  Looking back on their big day, it’s hard to narrow down my favorite moments. First, let’s talk about Becca. She’s hilarious, tough as nails (she REFUSED to let the freezing cold and crazy wind get to her), and MAN do I respect a bride who chooses to rock sparkly Kate Spade Keds on the dance floor. The groom and his Mom choreographed one of the most amazing mother-son dances that I’ve ever seen. Shawn, all I can say is Carlton Banks and The Fresh Prince, himself would’ve been proud. I am so grateful that these newlyweds chose me to capture their big day. Thanks, Becca and Shawn, for a wonderful end to the 2016 wedding season!
