I felt an instant connection when I met Cecilia and Joe. Maybe it was our shared (and perhaps borderline obsessive) love for our pups, or it could’ve been the excitement of photographing a couple who looks at each other the way they do. Cecilia and Joe share this quiet but undeniable sort of love. When you meet them, it is obvious that they hold each other in the highest regard. I LOVE photographing that type of love! Their wedding day was intimate, elegant and full of personal touches. Cecilia’s uncle both officiated the wedding AND painted a custom watercolor of the ceremony site, which the couple used as a guest book. Cecilia, herself, designed the invitations and the florals – and they were simply GORGEOUS! The couple wrote their own vows and read them to each other during their beautiful ceremony in a wooded grove. It was obvious that each moment of their day carried special meaning, and each wedding guest was there for a reason. (Each wedding guest also ROCKED the dance floor!)
