All kinds of something blue, polka dot covered umbrellas and dancing shoes, a tear-filled walk towards “I do”, striped bowties, fun socks, dance floor spins-dips-lifts, and the classiest subtle nods to Disney…Heather & Ricky’s wedding was truly a magical day.
I’ll never forget how much I enjoyed getting to know Heather & Ricky during their engagement session last year. They were both so warm and kind and completely at ease with each other…which makes my job so easy! Heather’s blue dress that day was the perfect nod to all of the gorgeous wedding details that she and her Mom so carefully planned for the big day. From the lining of Heather’s Dad’s tux to the blue laces on her Kate Spade Keds dancing shoes, not a single detail was overlooked.
On top of all of those amazing details, this day was filled with SO MUCH genuine emotion. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, as tears flowed from both Ricky and Heather when those church doors opened and she walked down the aisle. The newlyweds ran into their reception through a tunnel of their closest friends towards cheering guests, and those cheers never stopped as they spun and dipped their way through an unforgettable first dance! Heather & Ricky, I hope you enjoy reliving so many of the amazing wedding day moments that I was incredibly grateful to have witnessed. Wishing you a lifetime of dancing and laughter (…and some Disney happily ever after)!
