I absolutely love photographing milestones in the lives of children. At the age of one, when they’re so rapidly changing, what could be more important than capturing all the unique expressions, movements, and characteristics that make each child so special? This “first birthday” photo shoot was even more precious to me because I got to witness all of those qualities in my brother’s first one-year-old. Meet Kaley Madison – redheaded ringlets, piercing blue eyes like her dada, petite stature like her mama, and smiles upon smiles. I can never get enough of this peanut, and I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of making these memories.
