Helen and Mike unknowingly chased each other across Northern VA and Washington DC for seven years. His neighborhood commute included a daily walk by her office. Still strangers, they moved to the same street, living only one building apart. They went to the same gym and yoga studio and must have passed each other hundreds of times without actually meeting. It took a pandemic and online dating to finally bring them together and realize how much they already had in common.

On their third date, Helen & Mike attended a White Ford Bronco concert (an incredible Washington DC 90’s-music-only band). Towards the end of their set, the lead singer announced into the mic that there was a couple in the back who’d been kissing all night, and the band was willing to play their wedding. Fast forward almost three years later – the band kept their word!

Helen and Mike took every drop of wedding-day rain in stride. They married in a greenhouse surrounded by love and flowers and danced under a sparkling clear-top tent, serenaded all night by the best tunes of the 90’s. It was an unforgettable day, and a true honor to capture their love. Cheers, H+M!
