Cloudy. Misty on-again-off-again rain. Low 30’s. Heavy winds. Sounds like perfect engagement photography weather, right? Well despite waking up with the sun on the coldest day so far this year, Liz and Dan were super troopers who didn’t complain once. Liz even brought along her BFF for this sunrise session, who was equipped with hand warmers and extra layers for in between photos. When Liz pulled me aside before we started and said, “nothing too serious…we just like to have fun,” I knew it was going to be a great day. I had an awesome time walking around the monuments with this couple and finishing up the morning at Meridian Hill Park. I’ll take freezing cold temperatures to work with great couples like this any day! All the best, you two!
