Andrew Mellon Auditorium Mollie & Ben

Weddings

November 19, 2018

To tell the love story of Mollie & Ben, I defer to Ben’s own words.

“Just as his grandmother dreamed, Ben and Mollie fell in love in a synagogue. But just as Ben wished, it was during a concert. And just as Mollie scripted it, it was a country concert. Everyone’s happy. The happiness all started at work. Well, maybe not right away. Soon enough! If you ask Mollie what she thought of Ben at first, the most common response is “dork.” Shockingly, Ben objects to this phrasing as he believes he more closely resembles a nerd. But Mollie was being compensated for sitting next to Ben each and every day. So there she would be…each and every day. Light work emails turned to joking texts. Quick conversations in the morning switched to strolls around the block. The happiness began on the long walks and longer lunches during the work day. If it took leaving the office to find the joy in one another, love began even further away from work. From Nashville to San Francisco — Leesburg to Manhattan, Mollie and Ben began an adventure of their own design. Antiquing and record stores and concerts and the best food in town. In liking what one another likes, Mollie and Ben found love. Whether it was playing Monopoly on a snow day (ask Mollie about her entrance music) or being at Madison Square Garden on New Year’s Eve, Mollie and Ben realized that all the adventure needed was one another.”

Mollie & Ben’s wedding day was simply spectacular. There was no shortage of love, laughter, or cowboy boots. From the ring bearer’s pillow that was hand stitched with the lace from Mollie’s Mom’s wedding dress to the custom made “Ben Say No Requests” sign that adorned the DJ booth, every detail was thoughtfully curated and Mellon Auditorium provided the perfect setting for their celebration.

Mollie & Ben, THANK YOU for letting me capture your incredible first day of marriage! Cheers to a lifetime of adventure (and many concerts)!
