During the early fall of 2020, amongst national protests, pandemic lockdowns, and global uncertainty, Andrew and Joy had their first date. Nestled on the outer porch of a quaint historic restaurant in Fairfax, Virginia, they found themselves not talking about world events – but instead, they spoke of their families, their faith, their mutual desire for love, and of course their deep love of Marvel/Avengers Movies. They’ve been inseparable ever since.

J+A’s wedding day was equal parts sunshine and rain, which brought the most beautiful cotton candy sunset sky (scroll ALL THE WAY to the end)! They read each other private vows and found thoughtful ways to incorporate their Chinese, Jamaican, and Central American cultures into their first day of marriage. Breathtaking mountain views and fresh spring florals set the scene for a stunning celebration. Congratulations, Joy & Andrew!
