Heather & Kirk met at the VERY start of COVID – first documenting their budding romance with an outdoor, socially-distanced, masked selfie. Together, they’ve faced a pandemic, new jobs, new degrees, and new cities. They have traveled the world, grown their family by one feline, and finally set out to celebrate their love in the city that they now call home – Washington, DC.

Meridian House provided the perfect backdrop for H+K’s wedding day. A full day of rain didn’t dampen the celebration one bit in this gorgeous, historic setting – all perfectly orchestrated by Blue Sapphire Events! Heather & Kirk’s first day of marriage included umbrella-covered strolls, triple sister moments, guitar serenading, candlelit toasting, and the sweetest newlywed glances.
