I’ll never forget my first phone call with Brittany and Keenan. We chatted about how they met at the library at West Virginia University six months before Keenan was about to graduate. They knew they had something special, and decided to make their relationship work despite an inevitable long distance future while Brittany finished school. I loved hearing their story and learning about everything they envisioned for their wedding. But JUST as our conversation was coming to an end, Keenan said, “I have one last question for you.” I gulped, ready for him to throw me a curveball. He continued, “What’s your favorite episode of the The Office?” Talk about my kind of couple!!! Anyone who knows me knows my love for that show, and Brittany and Keenan could definitely give me a run for my money in The Office trivia. (By the way, my answer was “The Injury”…you know, when Michael burns his foot on a George Foreman grill because he likes to wake up to the smell of bacon.)

Brittany & Keenan chose to celebrate their wedding day at stunning Raspberry Plain Manor in Leesburg, VA. This was my first time photographing at this gorgeous venue, and I certainly hope it won’t be the last! Brittany & Keenan had a downpour of lucky wedding day rain during their reception, followed by one of the most incredible double rainbows I’ve ever seen. (Make sure you scroll down to check it out.) They vowed to continue binge watching The Office in front of friends and family, rocked a spectacular sock game, laughed a lot, cried a little, and formed an AMAZING dance circle of WVU alums to “Country Roads.” Their closest friends and family lit the way as they ran through a tunnel of sparklers to end their first day of marriage, before jetting off to live the good life on a Barcelona honeymoon!
